With official language “English” and 25 ethnic languages, Ghana is a small country with rich traditions and revered cultures. The latest and most enduring democratic reign started in 1992 and it is what has gained recognition for Ghana as a leading democracy in Africa. President Barack Obama’s visit in July has further brought the country in lime light.

Ghana has often been referred to as an “Island of Peace” in one of the most anarchic regions on earth.
